CHARITY PARTNERSHIP

Our Charity Partner, ReLove.

Every year, thousands of women and children escape domestic violence with nothing but the clothes on their back. They often move into empty homes, with no furniture or household items to call their own.

At Legal Home Loans, we believe a home is more than four walls. A real home is one that’s safe, comfortable and liveable. That’s why we’re proud to partner with ReLove.

“We help our clients into their dream homes every day, but sadly, this isn’t reality for everyone. Every night, across Australia there are people escaping crisis walking into empty houses. By partnering with ReLove, we’re able to support those forced to flee their circumstances, by providing vital furniture & décor to help them rebuild their lives with dignity. It’s a partnership that aligns deeply with our values, and we’re proud to play our part in turning a house into a home for those who need it most.”

Who ReLove Are and How They’re Making a Difference.

ReLove transforms empty housing into safe, fully furnished homes for people in crisis, including those escaping domestic violence or experiencing homelessness.

Caseworkers support clients as they choose quality furniture and homewares in a respectful and welcoming environment. The very next day, their team delivers and sets up their new home.

They receive pre-loved furniture and homewares at scale and rehome them with people who need them most. Since 2022, they’ve supported over 2,500 families and redirected more than 3,000 tonnes of furniture to homes instead of waste.

“ReLove’s work means women and children can start their new lives with dignity and choice.” – Renuka Fernando, ReLove Co-Founder

What we’re doing to help.

For every loan settled with us, Legal Home Loans makes a $50 donation towards ReLove, meaning your loan with us could help furnish homes for people in crises and support them to continue its important work.

We also participate in team volunteering days at the ReLove warehouse, where our team helps sort and prepare essential household items for people transitioning out of crisis. It’s an opportunity for us to give back together and make an impact in the community.
